My Students

My junior high students are amazing young men and women who love to perform on stage! Drama is a fantastic educational opportunity where students work as a team, building ensembleship, memorizing lines, rehearsing scenes and monologues from many genres and performing them for others to enjoy.

Many of my junior high drama students qualify for free or reduced lunch and our school is considered Title I.

My students love to perform and enjoy learning about all aspects of live theater.

My Project

The best way to teach is by telling stories. My drama students want to tell great stories but they cannot be seen. My students greatly need this stage lighting. Every year we produce several productions. Without adequate lighting it is hard for the audience to see my amazing actors and actresses.

My students need a Stage Lighting System 2 and ADH Repair Plan to perform and shine on stage!

All of my drama students and theatre tech students will benefit from these stage lights for many years to come. My tech students will learn about stage lighting and how to make our productions more vibrant through lighting. My drama students will learn the benefit of proper lighting on stage and how to perform within the light provided. We don't have a huge parent booster club with our drama program so getting this project funded would greatly improve our drama program.
